Following on from Skindive, I wrote and produced the ’Agents Of Empire’ and ‘Rise of the Reptile King‘ albums for his Industrial Alt Rock project ‘Lluther’. Lluther toured extensively in Europe and the US between 2006 and 2012, during which time, Owens signed a worldwide publishing deal with EMI (Sony ATV) and composed music for Movies and Documentaries such as ‘A Maverick In London’ & Uri Geller’s ‘Cursed’ Feature Length Documentary. 

During that period, I worked alongside and learned from some of the finest talents in the industry, people such as Dave ‘Rave’ Ogilvie (Nine Inch Nails, Marilyn Manson), Danny Saber (U2, Happy Mondays), Chris Blackwell (U2, Bob Marley, PJ Harvey, The Cranberries), Nick Ingman (Oasis, Annie Lennox, Björk, David Bowie), Alan Branch (Sinead O’Connor, Jeff Beck), Adrian Sherwood (NIN, Ministry, On-U Sound System) and many more”

In 2012, after a 10 month US tour with Lluther, I set up production company ‘BLack Bag Music’  and working alongside Los Angeles based Sonic Symphony, licensed cues to movie trailers such as ‘Thor The Dark World’, ‘The Edge Of Tomorrow’, ‘San Andreas’, ‘Mission Impossible – Rogue Nation’, ‘The Lone Ranger’ and ‘Tomorrowland’.

In 2020, I recorded my first studio albums in 10 years. ‘Waiting for April’ followed by ‘The Remnants’ The work combines cello and various antique acoustic instruments with electronically manipulated recordings. The work was inspired by a the work of of American Poet Robert Grey. The resulting sound mixes genres such as Ambient, Modern Classical and Electronic. The work is deliberately obtuse in its minimalism. 

Following a commission to write and produce a dark cover version of Love is a Battlefield for Nicole Böhm’s Soul Guardian Chronicles Series (Die Chroniken Der Seelenwächter) in 2021, I teamed up with vocalist Eliza Grey to produce music for the project ‘ZKULLZ’.

In 2022, I was asked to co-score two Yale Entertainment movies. Starting with the thriller ‘The Last Girl‘ AKA ‘Cult Killer‘ Staring Antonio Banderas and Alice Eve. Directed by Jon Keeyes.

Followed quickly by another Jon Keeyes movie, I co-scored the heist comedy ‘The Clean Up Crew‘ which stared Antonio Banderas and Jonathan Rhys Meyers.

In 2023/24 I scored Millenium Media‘s action comedy ‘Guns Up‘ Directed by Edward Drake and starring Kevin James, Christina Ricci, Luis Guzmán and Francis Cronin.
